the pizzeria angelo is located directly on the donau island next to the stonesporn bridge. even if this is jointly mentioned, the safari lodge and the pizzeria angelo are two independent locals. where the pizzeria angelo is a pure summer resort, since the local has only a partially covered free area. the only commonness is the local owner and the common toilets.The card offers apart from some pizzen also spare ribs and some wrinkles or various salads. very pleasant that you can eat here completely untended by clothing regulations or even drink a little. guests in swimsuits or bikini, short pants, cycling dress or jeans. I had a pizza that I was surprised by. a pizza duo about just under € 9....
we came by the local one because we were looking for a bath on the look for something to eat. the local was not particularly welcoming. since we had starved, we still took a place. the table was still filled with the scurry of the predecessor - as well as all the other empty tables. the waiter has apologised, he couldn't do anything about it - he was just underoccupied and actually little competent. but he was kind and striving, a summer help, not from the expert. that the table was not wizard, he did not notice, but after our note he liked to finish. the pizza popeye (with cheese and spinat) tasted little satisfactorily. besides, it was done hard; a somewhat strange mixture of everything!?...
the safari lodge has only a small dip card, but for that it is the right one. the price performance ratio is hearty. a white scavenger is so big, you get two big ones the same even at the cordon bleu, the associated salad and the pommes are always freshly prepared. the chef is tulli who knows what you want and the spare rips are not to despise. two large ripening and plenty of meat on a mountain pommes dressed and thinly sliced onion.The personal looks a bit ribbed but super friendly for it, looks that you do not thirsty and always brush the tables.The look out on the new donau is wonderful and the wide and the many green round.I can only recommend it to everyone.
Absolutely horrible service! Since there are cafes all up and down the NeueDonau, every 1-2 kilometers, there's absolutely no reason to choose this one, but a great reason not to--you're in for the worst and most unattentive service of your life. On a really nice day when other cafes are doing brisk business you'll find this one not so busy....and now I know why. They will ignore you for half an hour, grudgingly take the order, bring the food half an your later, and have to be chased down to present a bill. Food is ok, but equal or better is to be had at the other nearby cafes, so give this one a miss.
