Finally I could visit the so highly praised Vietnamese restaurant Saigon. The ambience with lots of solid wood and aquarium has reminded me of the Chinese restaurants in Nuremberg, but perhaps the differences are not so big. From the extensive map I ordered spring rolls with crab and crab chips. Both were served quickly and was tastefully fine. As the main course I chose one of the specialties of the house: beef chop meat rolled with lop leaves, soy sprouts, spices, and rice noodles. In addition, there were rice leaves in which the ingredients were rolled to Gusto. Also the main dish was good, but not exceptional. The rich herbs were not so extraordinary or asian with basil, mint and marjora...
Located in an inconspicuous villa in Laufamholz is the Saigon . Nice Asian furnishings, tables of different sizes. Very attentive fast operation. A rich menu makes the decision difficult. Very aromatic soups with chicken or scampis as inlay. The main dishes served on a hot plate are not just an eye-catcher. The duck with cashew nuts on the hot plate is particularly recommended. Well seasoned, crispy and tasteful. Most dishes are served on small farms and stay nice hot. I'm sure we'll eat back there.
Fearable lunch, otherwise top. Beware of the cheap lunch menu. There is much worse, labbrige meat. The noodles and the meat were burned, almost no piece without carburized area. The more expensive food is top, but there are also negative points. Soup was sharp, although it wasn't on the map. Glutamat must be ordered separately. There are only spicy soups (say the operation) It's very nice in the restaurant. But they also break that by storing stuff in transparent bags, for example, in the wardrobe.
The Saigon offers a good price/performance ratio. The dishes are served in original sharpness on request. This means that as a fan of sharp dishes it comes to its costs. Very recommended is the Pho Bo soup (a Vietnamese specialty). The restaurant is decorated in typical Asian style. But not overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the garden is not very beautiful, and one sits directly on the busy streets.

SuperEssen! The food is just unsurpassed. The staff is always friendly even if they don't always understand everything 100%. The ambience is simple but cozy. The beer garden is unfortunately right on the street and not very nice. A renovation of the restaurant and the garden and it would be absolute Oberliga.
We had a good time together with my wife in this restaurant for her birthday. The meals are quite good although not exceptional. We paid 40-45 euros for two people for dinner. There was only one waitress on that night
Unfortunately, not recommended for someone who wants to eat authentic Vietnamese. Service was okay, more kindness would be better for me. Spring rolls were tasteless, noodle sticky and soft, duck to crispy
Very nice classic ambience and delicious original Vietnamese food. Attention: something differs from classic Asians. But really decent for a fair price-performance ratio. I also often use lunches.
