Nous vivons près de ce restaurant et avons eu une mauvaise expérience avec un maître d'hôtel arrogant et inutile dans le passé. Je me suis plaint à la direction et ils s'en sont occupés. Surprise, surprise qu'il ne soit pas là lors de notre prochaine visite. Nous sommes donc revenus depuis et les choses se sont améliorées. C'est un peu cher mais le cadre, la vue, la qualité du service et la nourriture compensent. Cette fois, nous étions une famille de 7 personnes avec enfants et tout le monde était content. Nous n'avons jamais mangé de nourriture mal cuisinée ou mauvaise et depuis ma plainte, le service a été sympathique et efficace. Le seul problème que j'ai eu était de faire une réservatio...
I gave it another try and ordered the evening menu (Euro 33). The starter was salmon and was fine, the steak (ordered as medium) was still so raw and so full of tendons/grissle in the meat that it was rolling under my knife while trying to cut it. I showed the service the white patches in the meat and asked for a replacement. I got it and it is was again raw and full of fat and tendons. So the chef must be deaf or dumm...They were embarrashed and so was I. I was then offered a digestive as compensation rather than compensating me on the bill. The dessert consisting of a panacotta of pistache and berries and was fine. Service okay but no chef in sight who controlled what went back to the kitc...
Booked a table for 4 12/05/17 starters st.jack heated from frozen cold at the bottom of the pot served like a cafe the plates were dumped on the table. Second course lamb on the bone with sauce the lamb was dried up about a table spoon of sauce on the plate vegetable in short supply. bill was 220 euros not a problem if the food and service were up to standard. 4 HOURS LATER 2 OF THE PARTY WERE SICK ONE VIOLENTLY THE MORNING AFTER THE OTHER 2 MEMBERS HAD STOMACH CRAMPS AND diarrhoea 1 MEMBERS CRAMPS LASTED 3 DAYS.Complaints to the restaurant resulted in "WE DON'T WANT TO KNOW WE ARE NOT INTERESTED"
The menu was 33eu and consisted of beef carpaccio or Tuna tartar. We had one of each. The main we both had filet of beef with mushroom sauce. My husband asked for rare and was perfect. Mine I asked for well done (as so often in France it still comes pink) it was well overdone for me. Completely my fault. It was though good and sauce great, and large piece. We had the creme brule for dessert, mine was undercooked and liquid. It was quickly changed and the waiter very apologetic. Shows though that it was cooked at the last minute (it was still warm). Staying at Domaine de St Endreol apartments the restaurant just next door to the golf club house is more than handy for a nice meal. Reservations are preferred especially at the weekend. Decent menu with plenty of choice. The food was well prepared and the staff were pleasant and professional. What we chose was delicious but we felt that our meal was perhaps a little on the expensive side for what we ate.
It was May so not a lot of the site is occupied. What we had to eat was very good but the menu was a bit restrictive. 33 Euros for the 3 course menu of the day and 25 Euros for one of the excellent local Provence Rose wines . You can't complain. and if it is warm enough to site outside on the terrace , the views are marvelous and you can eat to the accompaniment of croaking frogs and hooting owls.
I join my parents for lunch here about 4 to 6 times a year. Their lunch menus are varied and offer good choices for both gluten free and vegetarian diners. Price-wise, it is on the higher end of the scale. The view is fantastic and the restaurant offers both terrace tables and inside space (for those really windy days).
Mon mari et moi avons eu un repas très agréable sur la terrasse extérieure, les prix sont un peu plus élevés que ceux des restaurants locaux mais de bonne qualité et bien présentés. Bon pour les mangeurs de viande et de poisson. expérience très agréable Réservez une table maintenant
