Sajj Mediterranean (san Ramon)

I've been dining here fairly consistently for a couple years and I am big fan. Surprised to see negative experiences in other fairly recent reviews, actually. Anyway, like I said, I am fan, the food is consistently good and flavorful, for me. I get the same thing every time: pomegranate chicken +falafel wrap. Tasty, with garlic spread, hummus, spicy tahini, peppers onions, etc. One thing I like is the staff gives generous portions and will listen you, as well, like if I want a bit more cauliflower or hummus or whatever, they will do it without hesitation, within reason, of course. Some other wrap places are very strict about portions and you end up feeling ripped off. Not here, for me anyway. Of course, it's not cheap and for $16, I better get a phat wrap, or I'm not going to come back. The outdoor seating is real nice too.

So the food itself is just so devoid of flavor or passion. Their chicken tasted like paper and their food in general is just basic.The compromise by making some of the wettest sauciest sauces. The problem now is that I’m just eating sauces. And the sauces themselves aren’t that great.Yea it’s semi fast food but there was no passion or thought about the ingredients In my and how the food comes out. Don’t come here literally go to any other Mediterranean place.Their fries are solid.

I used to love food at SAJJ, and had been a customer since last 8 years. But the quality of food has gone down. It's not the same. Sometimes the food is not fresh and the staff would take shortcuts to prepare and serve. I don't feel like going there anymore.

Delicious food! Priced right, plentiful portions, and friendly people. Will be going back for sure hopefully frequently.

Really exceeded my expectations. The food was wonderful.
