So I suppose it's up to the manager of a restaurant whether to replace a returned entree at no extra charge the customer for the uneaten food. Whatever the policy at Sakana (we didn't ask when we saw the item in question added to our bill, we didn't feel like getting into an argument), we still found the attitude of the server when my girlfriend didn't enjoy her spicy miso ramen to be unacceptable. Instead of simply offering a replacement when my girlfriend explained that she couldn't taste any miso in the broth, the lady server told us that the miso ramen tasted as intended and that adding more paste to the broth would make it too salty. It still didn't taste very good, but whatever. Fine....
One of our favorite places to eat. Sushi is good, simple, and fresh tasting. Would also recommend the ramen, katsudon, kaarage, sushi, and their appetizers! Worth the visit! 100% Best Japanese cuisine in the area. Whether it ramen or sushi, it's always amazing! Be prepared to wait. It's worth it. Gesoage update; the OG stuff is back. Spread the word. We always have a great experience at Sakana! The sushi is so fresh and they have amazing ramen. I got the tan tan vegan ramen and it was a large serving; I almost always have leftovers. Everyone is so nice and the food comes out quickly. We’ll definitely be back! Don't let the outside appearance deter you from this spot. Definitely has a high rating for a reason. The food was good and reasonably priced and the inside is darling. Best part was the service.
