quite expensive eating that was very little lust. during this time I was in my “to eat healthier” phase. I’m just not a fan of “healthy” food, but that made me really few sick after a few bites. there was a really strong sesame after the taste in this which made it hard to eat further. it almost felt as if they had thrown all these random healthy ingredients together to come with a court. nothing really made sense, and I just ate it for her sake. tofu was dry and I have learned everything in this court quite quickly. lection and a notiz to myself: I and healthier food do not look eye on eye. the prepacked chicken bowl offered over mealpal was really overwhelming, but the DIY bowls are another (better) animal completely. choose a protein and a basic, add as many types of vegetables as they like (I highly recommend the Brussel sprouts and mais), choose a dressing and additional toppings such as sesame seeds or sesametang. I usually get the miso braided pork and fried chicken, even though this may sometimes be dry. a hearty, healthy and satisfying meal for an apartment $15.
At $15 a bowl, the portion size and selection of ingredients don't wow. Some ingredients were overcooked and some were undercooked. Flavour not great. Usually not a picky eater at all, but did not finish meal due to disappointment with the taste This review is based on overall feedback from two separate lunch time visits with friends. Between us all, we have tried several of the different standard menu bowls and also build your own bowls Will not be returning here.
Made my own Poke Bowl and unfortunately the tofu was dry, when choosing my sides I asked for extra Brussel Sprouts and was given hardly anything (this has happened EVERY TIME), the girl that was serving me also could not hear me over their loud music and kept giving me the wrong toppings and sauce and I just had to roll with it... I wasn't overly happy with my bowl and Sake Jr used to be a go-to lunch grab for me, unfortunately it won't be any more Réservez une table maintenant
This place specialises in poke bowls and you can either choose from their recommended combinations or pick your own. I decided to make my own and I chose the Japanese fried chicken on brown rice with vegetables (as many as you want) and chilli sauce. The staff was very friendly and if you're unsure, they're happy to help you pick the ingredients. This is definitely a nice spot for a filling and healthy meal.
Tried their build your own bowl 15) and had the pork with rice noodles, all veggies and the sesame sauce. It tasted ok but you don't get much for the price. It is a healthier lunch option for the health conscious but I would pick a vermicelli bowl over this any day. I didn't find it memorable or special so it's probably the first and last time I go there.
This was a highly disappointing experience for my first poke bowl. I asked for the tuna bowl and I was told they weren’t doing fish today. Isn’t that the whole point of a poke bowl? I proceeded with chicken instead but none of the ingredients tasted fresh except the rice.
Decent sized bowl of salad. All the ingredients tasted fresh. Loved how you can pick and choose what is added when you build your own bowl. Lots of options/ ingredients to choose from. Réservez une table maintenant
today's lachspfeffer unfortunately missed the sign for me. the salmon was fresh, but my favorite part of all meals (to be in the rice) was cold and textural underboiled. sad.

"I was satisfied with the food. Burgers are between $14.90 and $15.90. The drinks are more expensive than other places, and the free Wi-Fi is slow and stops working intermittently."
