We wanted to love the restaurant but there were several issues that we experienced: the server was not at all knowledgeable about the food offered and wasn’t attentive. One of the roles that we ordered had charred fish, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu and the server couldn’t say which one was the one that had the smoky flavor. We didn’t like it and when we ordered a second round we had another smoked flavored role included. Very frustrating. They only serve daiquiri and white wine which is disappointing, considering the restaurant is a sushi restaurant and should at the very least serve Saki. secret service. I had been several times in these restaurants and often ordered out. I'm not sure what changed, but the service was the worst I experienced in dc. the server had no warning of everything, saw lost and could not have social contacts. we then had to pour water, there was no beverage menu nor knew server what could be served (server didn't know what was a storage beer) waited for an hour for sushi rolls, manager was useless and customer service absent. empty plates were left on the table, even if new courses have arrived, until we explicitly suggested that they be removed. eating was good, but not enough to provide for the appalling service. please restore this place to its form...

We showed-up on time, waitress took our order minutes later. Food showed-up an hour later. The waitress never came around to ask if we needed anything. Told us the kitchens is closing and it’s last call for food. Yet our original orders weren’t out yet. When the sushi showed-up everybody’s order was on plates, we had figure out who ordered what. There was of us! The food was great but the service was terrible. Also, they charged a tip to the bill without telling us.

Menu was misleading not very “Latin Asian” mostly sushi, which was however very good- the best part about the restaurant. The “bi-level” part of the description of the restaurant is wrong. The second floor of the restaurant is apparently a completely different Greek restaurant owned by the same owner. Firstly, when we entered the establishment we were told that we would have to wait minutes for a seat, after already having a reservation. Once we were seated our server was very rude. He then only came to check our table one time, the entire two hours we were there. I was very unhappy with the service. I will not be going back.

Impromptu date night with my husband and this was our second time dining and it dint disappoint. The sushi was amazing and service was great. We had a few specialty rolls that were amazing. Will definitely be back when our west coast sushi snobs visit us this summer

we arrived and sat in a back room. not to find a server, asked for a server and menus, finally received menus, but the server did not return over minutes. After we receive in the restaurant for minutes without service, except menus, we have gone.
