First time at Sakonnet River Grille and I have to say I liked it. I've driven by pretty much daily for the past 6 years and wanted to try something new. Food was good 8/10, Service was on point 9/10, Atmosphere 8/10. I had a cup of clam chowder... a bit more pepper than I'm used to but it was fantastic!!! I also ordered the 14oz ribeye with glazes carrots and mashed potatoes. Ordered ribeye medium and the cooks nailed it (which isn't my usual experience). Went out with my wife on the motorcycle, after stopping at four locations that were closed for business on Mondays we decided to try a new place.... Sakonnet River Grille! In the last few years I have been pessimistic about finding a decent lobster roll, where it 's physical size and mass would be worth it 's price. Not only was this a really satisfying effort but it was delicious as well! My wife enjoyed the fish and chips, with a light crispy batter. My friend ordered scallop app. 18.00 for 4 scallops My baked stuffed fish was dry and tasted old. We had eaten there before and it was good that's why I ordered the fish. I told the waitress that it was disappointing. She didn't seem to care. Something has changed there. We won't be back.
Yum. I had one of the best meals ever. The Sakonnet Scampi with Scallops was phenomenal. So tasty and pretty. I wish I’d taken pictures. My cocktail was made perfectly. And the waitress, Livvy was adorable. I would definitely go back.

Slipped in for lunch no problem on a Sat before a flight. Quick friendly service. All kinds of tasty things on the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious. Huge portions. Plan to take some home with ya.
The food was delicious. My friend and I split a meal and the portion was so big, neither of us could finish half.
Outstanding food and service. meal this evening was out of this world it was very busy but service was impeccable
