First time at Sakonnet River Grille and I have to say I liked it. I've driven by pretty much daily for the past 6 years and wanted to try something new. Food was good 8/10, Service was on point 9/10, Atmosphere 8/10. I had a cup of clam chowder... a bit more pepper than I'm used to but it was fantastic!!! I also ordered the 14oz ribeye with glazes carrots and mashed potatoes. Ordered ribeye medium and the cooks nailed it (which isn't my usual experience). My friend ordered scallop app. 18.00 for 4 scallops My baked stuffed fish was dry and tasted old. We had eaten there before and it was good that's why I ordered the fish. I told the waitress that it was disappointing. She didn't seem to care. Something has changed there. We won't be back.
Food and service are very good just wish they would create more and larger tables and booths so they would have more seating and for larger parties 4 people or more. I am not a space designer but I see a lot of unused space by the large bar that could be better purposed.
Slipped in for lunch no problem on a Sat before a flight. Quick friendly service. All kinds of tasty things on the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious. Huge portions. Plan to take some home with ya.

For a casual lunch or dinner Sakonnet River Grill never disappoints. Their soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees are all delicious. Living just down the street we frequently stop in.
The food and service were exceptional. My meal tonight was absolutely incredible. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the service was flawless.
This is one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had! The portion sizes are generous, the food is delicious, and the service is exceptional.
Great place to dine privately, and it's right on the Main Rd right off the highway.
