Unfortunately, this time our server simply cooked the food, performed a couple of small tricks, and that was the extent of the show. We ended up spending around $250 for a family of six (including a 20% tip and two kids' meals, along with mostly the cheaper adult meals). My husband and I had to force smiles throughout the meal to avoid letting the kids know we felt shortchanged. I should have suspected something was off when we noticed we were practically the only group there, aside from six other patrons in the entire restaurant.
On the upside, the place was clean, so I give it 2 stars for the atmosphere. They did serve the food in a timely manner, so that earns another 2 stars for service...
I used to dine here regularly but had stopped for a while. We came back yesterday for a birthday dinner and noticed a clear improvement in the quality of the dishes. The menu was the same, but everything tasted better. The soup was richer, with caramelized onion pieces and a wonderful flavor. The salad dressing was thicker and more flavorful. Each dish was cooked perfectly, and the seasoning was spot on. Honestly, it was the best meal I’ve had here. I wish I could remember the cook’s name—he wore a brown mask and brought birthday gifts, which was a nice touch. Definitely worth the money!
During my visit to Sakura Japanese Steak, Seafood House Sushi, I encountered incredibly rude and arrogant behavior from the manager, which guarantees I won't be returning. I was even reprimanded for politely requesting to replace vegetables I'm allergic to with rice, a substitution that should cost less. Interestingly, the restaurant was completely empty on a Sunday evening—now I understand why. Save yourself the trouble and head to Kobe for far superior food and service. I hope that 50 cents was worth it!
I went with one other person which is probably really not enough. The tables are around the Hibachi Grill and you should really have about eight people. Otherwise you sit with others which is fine. The sushi chef has retired so at the moment they don't have sushi. The salad is very good and I got the mixed vegetables. It is entertaining, the food is good, not the best I've ever had. I personally think it is better for a larger group than just two people

We've made it a tradition to go here every year on my grandson's birthday, and it never disappoints. Not only is the food fantastic, but it is so entertaining, and the kids absolutely love it.
Good hibachi, good environment. Sushi not available due to staffing issues. Caught a shrimp and they gave me a bonus a shrimp
Excellent spot for family or group dinners. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive.
