EVERYTHING that Sal and Jerry bakes is absolutely delicious! From their pound cakes, all of their cookies and today I tried their Easter grain pie! I will say without hesitation it was truly amazing! Every single item they make is better than any other baked goods I’ve had not only here in NY, but other states as well. Buy one of everything. You will agree with me that they’re a 5 star bakery!

I found the few items I bought at my local Food Emporium to be good and reasonably priced, especially in comparison to my nearby bakeries. However, it's important to note that this isn't an actual local bakery; it's more like a warehouse located on Long Island. The only connection to Brooklyn seems to be the logo. The cookies here are absolutely amazing! I’m in awe of the incredible flavors they offer. With around 70 different varieties, not only do they taste fantastic, but they are also beautifully decorated! From pignoli and rainbow cookies to jelly-filled and almond cookies, I want to sample them all!
I discovered this place at the Port Jefferson Farmers Market and was instantly captivated. I've returned several times over the past few weeks, and it looks like it will become a regular Sunday morning destination for me.
