I do not understand the high ratings and fuss about this place as it is distinctly average and is downrated to Poor when you consider the price, which if reduced might get it to Average. We thought we may have caught them on a bad day and therefore went back and it was just average dressed up to be something it is not. Don't get me wrong, I am more than happy to pay lots for a great meal and frequently do, but this place is out of balance. It is set in a housing estate with little to recommend it in terms of location and ambiance. The building and decor and car park are good but if you are looking for an excellent meal there are brilliant places, close by, with amazing gardens and views and...
We went there on a strong recommendation and were not disappointed... quite the contrary. The place is very pleasant wether you opt for a tapas in the bar area or a meal in the different rooms of the restaurant. The prawns are their specialty and you will understand why when you taste them. Everything was perfect with a good and sympathetic service despite the huge affluence. Reservations recommended.
