Sale e Pepe - Réserver une table

I visit personally and professionally the "Sale et Pepe" since more than 10 years.The service is always friendly and you feel welcome from the very moment you enter.Ambiance is, generally animated, and invites you to express yourself.Food is tasty, fine and constant, still offering you seasonal dishes that honor the restaurant's tradition.Cavateli mediterranea, pizza tartufo,... and many others that show the generosity of the kitchen. The whole linked with a fine tuned wine choice.The best, the warm and cosy atmosphere the staff transmits makes this place a refuge where is good to come. Every time! Constant like "Pi" that makes the circle round!

We visited this restaurant on a Friday night and to our surprise it was at 20.30h almost full with a lively and friendly atomosphere. The choice of food is large and our pizza al tartufo and the pasta with shrimps were tasty. The service was rapid and attentive.Only for dessert we got a coupe danemark instead of another one but we were so happy with the rest that we just enjoyed this too. The espresso was italian too, strong, mmh. We liked also the space around each table which allows talking without the neighbours listening. The prices are not low but we estimated that the quality of the food justified them.

This place is actually worth a drive from Lenzburg or Aarau or wherever you are in Aargau! I come by whenever I have a chance. Their risottos are to die for but the sardellen pasta is one of the most fabulous dishes I ever had...ever! The sale e pepe pasta and sale e pepe pizza are apparently also very good (although I never tried them because I cannot help ordering the same risottos and sardelen pasta each time I'm there!). The atmosphere is very nice and the staff friendly. I am not sure if they speak English but are have always been very patient with my German.

It was full when we entered on Friday evening, but the staff quickly found a nice table. Although it was busy, it was nice and a good atmosphere. The guests we saw looked happy. The food came quick and tasted excellent. I can recommend this full heartedly.

Very good food and service; we were there on a business lunch and the service was quick, the food was very tasty.
