This is one of my favorit restoran in Melbourne and visited at least once month. Sadly, when I writing this review, the restaurant in Malvern has closed down. Fortunately there is another "Salero Kito" in Tivoli Arcade in the city. It serves authentic Padang (part of Indonesia in Sumatera) food like beef rendang (beef curry), fried chicken, dendeng balado (spicy crunchy beef jerky), gulai kikil (beef tendon curry) etc. For vegetarian there is gulai nangka (young jackfruit curry) or gulai daun singkong (silverbeet curry in place of cassava leaves curry) or tempe and tahu goreng. the price is reasonable. Rice with 4 dishes only $15.
