Sal's Italian Pizzeria

ordered a Sicilian with meatball and mushroom on whole pie but came with toppings only on one half of the pie. topping side was burnt and plain side was slightly underdone (how?! . the dough and cheese were tasteless but the sauce was nicely seasoned. the hot antipasto was an absolute joke, everything was soggy and bland. pizzeria should be ashamed to serve that calamari and mozzarella sticks. eggplant tasted liked it was washed in bleach. only saving grace was the mussels, would order those again.

This is the best pizza Ive had around here... wanted to try a new spot. I will be ordering from Sals from here forward. We ordered 1 pizza half plain half Hawaiian. Kids destroyed it. The Bruschetta pizza is unreal. Both pizzas have a nice crunch to every bite. Perfecto!!!!

Visit Sal's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria a few times during your stay in Toms River NJ. The pizza was really good and the service was also great. We've just stunned Sal's and we're glad we made it. Five stars for Sal's.........

I can only judge her pizza... excellent. Best pizza I tried in my 20 years in Toms River. I'm sorry it took me so long... One piece!!!!
