I’m not quite sure what to make of my experience today. I placed an order through the Slice app, but when I arrived, I was informed that the app was down. While I understand this isn’t the restaurant’s fault, I still faced some challenges. I had ordered a pizza and a salad, only to be told that they don’t serve salads. Their menu on Slice was quite extensive, so I found that confusing. I also overheard someone else asking for garlic knots, which they didn’t have either. I've lived on Long Island my whole life and have sampled many pizza places across the island. I can confidently say that Sals of Smithtown deserves the top spot! The owner and staff were incredibly courteous, and the atmosphere in the pizzeria was vibrant and inviting. The pizza was exceptional, and unique offerings like the garlic knot sliders were unlike anything I've encountered before. The menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of options, and I will definitely be returning to Smithtown for more delicious food!
This was my first visit, and I was there alone with five kids. The staff was incredibly kind! My husband runs an exterminating company, so I've encountered many restaurant employees, but the way we were treated here was outstanding. The plain pizza slice was delicious, and my kids couldn't get enough of the garlic knots. The salad I had was also very tasty. I highly recommend this place! A big thank you to the staff at Sals for being so accommodating and friendly to us.

Came here for the 5 stars and to see what's all the fuss about Sals of Smithtown. I ordered a vodka chicken cutlet hero with fresh mozz. It took 45 minutes to make when I was told 25. That's not the worse part. They give it cold as anything and thefresh mozz isn't even throughly cooked. I never really write reviews but that's not cool.. they didn't even have garlic knotsmade??? What kind of Pizzeria doesn't even have knots?? Definitely a big let down ????
The pizza at this place is extremely overpriced and not worth it at all. Every time I visit, there’s never any pizza ready when they open, which makes no sense. I also don’t understand how they can run a restaurant without chicken, especially since pizza is pretty much all they sell every day. I've stopped going to Sal's because I can't believe how much it has changed since they first opened. What a disappointment!
The food took two hours to arrive and had little to no flavor. The delivery guy actually turned the pizza upside down while trying to take it out of the bag. Honestly, it wasn't worth the wait or the hype.
I got a bbq chicken slice around 6:30/7:00 pm. In the middle of the night I was throwing up and had the runs really bad. I would not recommend sals. Thumbs down for me.

They offer a wide variety of pizza options. We tried the pepperoni pizza, and it was the best we’ve ever had—freshly baked and absolutely delicious!
