Easily my favorite pizza in the RAMSEY area (or anywhere). I have been going to Sal’s since I moved to Ramsey in 1986. They used to be located more in the middle of town, before they moved to the current location in about the late 80’s... The dough is made fresh daily and tastes like a nice Italian bread. The chunk sausage is the best I have had on any pizza! The red sauce and the mozzarella cheese used on the pies is just so good. Put it all together and it makes for a great pizza!
I was really disappointed with the pizza. The sauce lacked flavor, there was hardly any cheese, and the crust was undercooked. Perhaps I just happened to visit at a bad time. A picture can say so much, and mine certainly reflects my experience. This is the first review I've ever written, but I felt it was necessary after ordering from here. I had read all the reviews and decided to give them a shot.
I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life. This is not worthy of a... 4.5 ???????Pizza crust is PAPER thin and tasteless. The topping of sauce and cheese is even more thin and tasteless. Honestly (and I'm not joking)...Chuck E.Cheese has superb pizza compared to this !!One last thing, he goes from handling phones and money straight to MAKING the pizza ! No hand washing whatsoever. Don't go here !???
This restaurant is perfect if you're in the mood for a simple, straightforward cheese pizza. While I can't speak for the other varieties, the plain cheese pizza was excellent: the sauce was well-balanced and not overly sweet (which can spoil even the best pizza), the cheese was just the right amount, and the crust had a nice chewiness to it. I also found the buffalo wings to be quite tasty. Réservez une table maintenant
The BEST pizza in town!! Me and a few friends went to different pizza places around town to taste test them, and we all agreed that this place had the best pizza, service, and overall atmosphere! Very much recommended if you're looking for a good slice!!
Several times I tried to place an order in the afternoon. website says they're open but nobody ever answers the phone. I think they need to pay more attention to the website hours
This is the only pizza my family and I will ever eat! It is one of a kind for flavor! Joey the owner is awesome too. There's a family feel in this pizza shop that can't be beat!
