Not a great food experience.... The chips were greasy, the salsas were both pretty bland and neither had any spiciness.The rice was oddly crunchy, like it might have overcooked a bit? The chicken taco was okay but you couldn't pick it up because the tortilla was soaked and disintegrated on the side that was on the plate, maybe they didn'tdrain the meat before adding to the taco... and the only thing hot on the plate was the tamale (which was really our favorite thing we tried here and it was crunchy on both ends too so you couldn't eat the whole thing).
What an incredible spot! My family had a holiday meetup here and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food is delicious and everyone was raving about the enchiladas. They clearly named it Salsa Grill for their wonderful salsas (there’s 3! . I ate through an entire basket of crispy tortillas with the salsa and yummy cheese dip before I even ordered! Margaritas are perfect, not too sweet and just deliciously sour! Lovely family-owned atmosphere and service. Highly recommend for a party or just a night out!
Salsa Grill is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the KC area. The salsa is fantastic, full of flavor, chopped vegies and comes in mild, medium and hot. John, the restaurant owner treats every customer like a friend. We are vegetarian and John and the staff provide delicious plates full of amazing flavor. The servers are professional, and friendly. We feel like family at Salsa Grill.
Drove by this place for years, looks dark from outside! Some friends told me they liked it. It was a wonderful experience, food is Great, prices are inline, waitress Stephanie ? was the Best. There menu has so many options to ad Chicken, Beef or Pork. They can also Vegan. I'll be back and bring friends . Unbelievable drink selection, margaritas Unbelievable with Great prices.

We tried this place for the first time last night for Taco Tuesday. We did not have a good dining experience. The tacos were not good at all, nothing great about them at all, the ground beef was nothing to write home about. We ordered rice and it was awful, we both said it was like baby food. We won’t be returning. It’s a shame because it’s in our neighborhood.
I had suspicions when I walked in. I enjoy good Tex mex from time to time. This was not good… this was Mexican food day at the cafeteria. Bland, generic Mexican food for people who can’t enjoy too much flavor. I could complain about every little detail but just read this and take my advice. Find another Tex max joint.
Visited this establishment off and on for several years. It's not in my neighborhood or I would probably go more. Freindly staff always clean. Gets busy at times. Food is quality with nice portions for the price. Texmex but in an elevated style.
Their chicken nachos are wonderful. Always great service. Chips and salsa are soso..solo... but individual taste is different. Definitely would recommend those chicken nachos! A meal in itself! Parking: Free parking

The service and the food was wonderful. And although they were getting ready to close they had no trouble at all taken care of our order and making us feel very comfortable.
