Salt Café - Réserver une table

This is such a lovely place to visit and a good walk from Portchester castle. Been eating here for years and always enjoy it. Pleased when they added a dedicated vegan section to the menu. Other items from the main menu can be made vegetarian by request and staff always accommodating of this. Also been to some of their vegan special event nights which are quite expensive but more ‘fine dining’. The cafe menu is in the full pictures and I think reasonably priced. They also sell lots of cakes not shown on menu, but only one vegan flapjack option last time I was there.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, especially with their breakfast menu. The view is stunning, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. The decor adds to the overall charm of the place. It can get quite busy any day of the week, particularly on weekends, but I usually found a table within a few minutes. Additionally, there are outdoor seating options, and dogs are welcome inside, which is a nice touch!

We went for both their pizza night and breakfast, and both were fantastic. The sourdough pizza was delicious, and there were plenty of great options to choose from. The staff was friendly, and they even welcome dogs. Plus, the coffee was excellent! I would definitely recommend this place without hesitation.

The Salt Cafe offered a good selection of vegan options. I tried the avocado on toast, which was delightful. The atmosphere was lovely, and the location was stunning. We enjoyed a nice window seat with a great view.

While there aren't many vegan options available, the staff is friendly and willing to accommodate requests for modifications.
