Salt Pepper Peruvian Food Cart 82 Ave

I was nearby and had an hour to kill. Looked up food trucks near me and found this Peruvian spot. Reviews looked good so I tried it out. I got the slow cooked lamb dish. It was amazing. Super tender melt in your mouth meat. Next time I want to try the lomo saltado. Better yet I want to bring my whole family here so I can try all the other dishes. Owner is super kind and clearly takes pride in the quality of food. The lamb dish is cooked with bones for maximum flavor and nutrients I’m assuming. The meat fell right off the bone and was so tasty. Plus I love yuca and the plate came with a huge piece of yuca and great tasting beans. I’ll be back for sure

Food truck located on SE 82nd that we have visited previously on Belmont. The food is delicious. We came for lunch on our most recent visit. We started with the fish ceviche which was tasty and then had the lomo Saltado and a plate of plantains. Other than the sauce on the saltado being a little too salty, the veggies on the plate were excellent.

Stopped here on the way to the airport and the food was SO GOOD. Exceeded our expectation. Easily some of the best Peruvian food. We got both pollo and lomo saltado—flavor and veggies top notch on both. We preferred the pollo , even though we normally love lomo. Would definitely recommend. Lots of outdoor and covered seating.

Love the food growing up Peruvian food is been one of my favorite so fining this place is been great even when we have to drive6 hours to get it lol
