My husband and I embarked on a scenic Fall foliage drive during the last weekend of September, with a pit stop in the charming mountain town of Nederland, CO. We decided to grab a quick bite at Salto Cafe. Having already indulged in coffee earlier that morning, we opted for salads and a side of sourdough toast with butter. I ordered the Greek Salad with grilled chicken, and it met my expectations. The portion size was just right for me. On the other hand, my husband chose the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. $8.50 beers? Sheesh. I love this place and I'm up here once or twice a week. It's a great atmosphere to work. But it's insane to pay almost 10 bucks (after tip) for a beer on tap. Do better, Salto.
Loved my orange cardamom latte! The person who took my order was so kind and visited with me! We went twice while we were in town. My husband loved the homemade jam!
Gave this place two chances, each to which I was let down
There typically won't be a large crowd, yet every table will be dirty.

This place is called Taco Town for a reasonThe tacos rock! I had four tacos; barbacoa, asada, al pastor and shrimp.
Great coffee and incredible breakfast sandwiches. The bacon biscuit was delish. Would recommend and will be back!
Salto is always great! Coffee and food are made with care and the staff are always friendly.
