Additionally, we were charged $3.50 for a side of toast. It’s just toast—essentially just bread! I understand inflation is an issue, but that seemed excessive. We tried to point out the issues to the waiter, but he just responded with, “So you’re okay? All good?” We generally don’t complain, but we felt a bit shortchanged. On the bright side, the view was lovely! Perhaps other menu items are better. This isn’t meant to discourage anyone from visiting; this is just an honest review.

The atmosphere outside is delightful, providing a nice view of the docks, but I recommend requesting a table further back to avoid the noise from the busy road nearby. The French toast was cooked to perfection, and I’m looking forward to trying the bananas foster French toast on my next visit. The friendly wait staff makes you feel right at home. I will definitely come back!

Helps to know when the place is actually closed for the season. Maybe it's obvious for people in the city, but out of town... not so much. Especially when everything immediately appears on Google and Opentable says they are still open. And you can book a table and follow up to confirm it...

Try the crab/ asparagus/Boursin omelette . the yummiest thing I ate in Cape May. French toast was also good Service was good and price was fair. Tables under overhang on the patio perfect -outside tables with umbrellas are too close to all the marina foot traffic don’t provide sun cover Réservez une table maintenant

The diner offers typical fare, but it's prepared really well. There's lovely outdoor seating by the dock, surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.

Great breakfast. The service was excellent. Such a shame that people make reservations and do not show that the restaurant turns away others.

Bananas Foster French toast was outstanding! Short wait and very quick service by friendly staff. Will eat there again! Réservez une table maintenant

Great for a late brunch. Would recommend making a reservation if you have a party of 4 or more.
