Salute - Réservation de table

First dish: the clams had sand in them and also in the linguini dish. Second dish: tagliatelle wasn't what I expected and was more like a cheese macaroni (just glutinous amounts of cheese). I barely ate any and the waiter asked if I wanted my almost entire remaining dish to be boxed up and I said no thank you. IMHO a good waiter or restaurant will ask about your dish ... not this place. They didn't seem to care.

We will miss Salute for special occasions, as it's closing soon. They were very busy on the last Saturday night of service. This was the prettiest setting of a restaurant I know of in the East Bay. Too bad the greedy landlord has not been able to recognize the amazing contribution this restaurant has made to Richmond and the surrounding community.

As always Salute was a great experience. The food never disappoints. The cocktails are expertly made and the service is always terrific. It’s a wonderful place to go for drinks and appetizers or a nice dinner. I can’t wait to try things at their new location

Food was delicious place is lovely. I’m baffled as to why the landlord does not support Menbe Salute. Menbe has been an inspiration showing how one person can make a huge difference in a community. You can be assured we will support her new venture! Réservez une table maintenant

The occasion was very sad. Due to a wicked landlord, this landmark restaurant is quitting business in two days. Those of us who love Membe (the owner), the wonderful ambience and food are deeply saddened.

It's so sad that this beloved restaurant is closing on July 6, 2018. I wish I'd known about this wonderful place earlier, but I only read about it's closure in a recent article in the SF Chronicle.

Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, its owner, staff, food. The closing will be a real loss, but we cannot wait to visit the new location.

Had a great meal and Nembe enjoying a couple bottles of wine with us was the icing on the cake. We will miss it, but looking forward to her next endeavor! Réservez une table maintenant
