My wife and I visited this restaurant four years ago while attending a softball tournament. We live in Louisville, KY, where we have a few great pizza places. I've tried pizzas in many states, including some famous spots in Chicago, but four years ago, I declared Salvo’s had the best pizza I’d ever tasted. When we walked in, an older Italian gentleman served us an incredible pie. Fast forward to today, and we decided to stop by again on our way back to Louisville. We’ve been living in Smyrna for quite some time, but somehow we’d never tried this place until now. I honestly can’t believe we waited so long! It was the best pizza I’ve ever had in my 48 years. While we were getting new tires put on our RV across the street, we decided to stop in for lunch, and thankfully, the lunch buffet was still available. Wow! We’ve never tasted pizza this delicious before! We’re already planning to come back and will definitely be ordering delivery as well. We enjoyed Beef Lasagna and Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine tonight, and both dishes were excellent. The Alfredo sauce was creamy, and the chicken was tender. The lasagna from this place is one of my favorites—absolutely the best! We often visit Salvo's and can confidently say that the Stromboli is also a favorite, whether you choose Philly or spinach and cheese. Family pizza nights were what initially hooked us on the fantastic food here. Whenever we have the chance to dine in, the service is always great.
