January 2023 update: In spite of a recent accident that saw a car plow into the front window of the restaurant, it’s business as usual. Our party enjoyed Fish and Chips, and Hot Hamburger with fries as well as with Mashed Potato. And also, fine service. Truly a family restaurant. we don’t live in Scarborough but this is the spot we choose to have lunch at when we visit . Great family restaurant. Haven’t been for a couple of years, and our first inside-dining in a long while. Premises and washrooms clean, and our server was pleasant and prompt. Nice to have a clubhouse again, and my wife enjoyed her moussaka and Greek salad.
The waitress was amazing. The service was fast. The soup of the day was great, the garlic bread was good. The vegetables were bland, the 6 oz steak seemed so small and thin, and was bland too. They only thing great in that plate was the fries. It was fries that was very soft and big like how fries used to be at restaurants 20 years ago. If I come back I will avoid the steak and try something different. I am curious to try their breakfast one of these days.
This place was a lovely little hidden gem. I had some friends visiting from out of town and we picked a random place to eat. On the outside it is not much to be desired but once you enter you see a heart warming, hard working and delicious smelling restaurant. Food is cheap and very big portions. Food taste was good not blow you out of the water good but filling and fitting for the restaurant. Highly recommend for cheap food :
I was extremely impressed with the service at Sammy's Family Restaurant. We received our food within just 10 minutes of arriving. Although I had never been here before, I will definitely be returning for breakfast. The bustling atmosphere of the restaurant was surprising, but it just goes to show how fantastic the establishment is! Réservez une table maintenant
Tonight for dinner, I was with my Agincourt Community Church family and we all went to Sammy's Family Restaurant! I had a delicious salad, Seafood Fettuccine, and Apple Pie!! Everything was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Thanks to the waitress for taking everyone's order! Hoping to come back here again someday!!!!
Just discovered this little hole in the wall. Service and food was excellent. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the price and portion definitely makes up for it. Planning to go back soon and try something else from there very extensive menu. Saulsberry steak was incredible and I must try!
This restaurant has a lovely ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The food is both comforting and tasty, with a good variety of options for vegetarians and a few choices for kids. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. I highly suggest giving this place a try!
This place was amazing. The server was bubbly and the food was amazing. The cook here knows how to make food. I cant say anything more but check it out yourself. Price where spot on also. Great hidden gem of Scarborough. Grab some breakfast you wont regret it … Réservez une table maintenant
