Great catfish!!!! That was then. The now is a little different. The fish looked more like fish sticks, the red beans and rice was more like rice with a hint of red beans. The coleslaw was dry. So when I went back I tried the cheesteak sandwhich. What a waste of money that was. They once were great but have just went down hill like so many places in this area. Service: Take out
Bobby was such a wonderful server/cashier! So helpful and kind, and a wonderful person to chat with. Loved my shrimp so much I took it home, the catfish was beyond tasty, the red beans and rice was superb, the hush puppies were fantastic, and the potato salad was delicious. Definitely my new go to spot for fish and shrimp! Definitely coming back soon! Service: Dine in
Seems they have changed recipes since my last visit. Not in a good way. Ordered fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were a soggy, greasy mess and not green but red. The catfish was very crunch no flavor except freezer taste. The service was very good. Unfortunately I am now looking for a new seafood place. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
Tonight was our first experience at Sam’s and we loved it. It’s definitely a don’t judge a book by its cover kind of place. My husband got the double southern burger and I got the shrimp po boy and both were cooked well and tasted great. The veggies were fresh. The fries were seasoned well.
