"We had lunch at Samsons on Easter Saturday. The fish was to die for (we had sea perch) and the batter was light and delicious. There is nothing better than enjoying beautiful Raby Bay whilst having a feed of fresh fish, chips and salad. Always the best food and good service. We certainly did not wait long for our meal."

This place is located in amongst a lot of eateries on the water. Lovely outlook over the water and the boats. The restaurant prepares seafood, mostly fish and chips but does do prawns and oysters.Fish and chips can come in 10 different types of fish cooked battered, crumbed and battered. Nothing unusual there.Plates come with chips and salad and are served on a huge plate.BYO with first choice across the road. They will provide plastic glasses or we saw other people bringing their own.Lovely meal on a lovely day and I liked the service standard. I'd certainly go back.

Kids had a seafood lunch arrange for my partner. What a delightful find. Nice setting over the harbour. Plenty of happy patrons. Exceptionally large plates. We eat in and each had our own fish selection with salads an chips. Shared two serves of calamari. Everything was amazing and exceptional. Huge congrates to the freindly staff and management. Alot of love and pride goes into what comes out the pass at this place. Has to be the best fish and chips experiance for a very long time.

We just had lunch at Samsons. We had to wait for a table and it was a 30-40 minute wait for the food, however there's a reason for this. It's very popular. You could go somewhere else where the view isn't as good and the fish is ordinary, but both are worth the wait at Samsons. Just take a cider and settle in. The chips were also delicious but I wouldn't order the salad again, way too much iceberg lettuce.

The fish chips and crisp fresh salad is our favourite in the area. You can even take your own wine.Set on the bustling promenade overlooking the yacht harbour, the seating is very basic, but the setting and experience terrific.Great value and consistently fresh. The most reliable and enjoyable culinary experience we have found in Queensland.!
