BUT..had to knock 1 star off bc on their website menu which we?re instructed to look at from a QR code, stated that the prices for scallops and amaebi nigiri were lower than what they actually billed us. we didn?t realize this until we left and looked at the menu again bc we remembered it being a bit cheaper so we thought that was a great deal and ordered a lot of it. RESPONSE TO THE RESTAURANT OWNER: 1. THIS IS FACT: we ordered their most popular foods taking them 1.5 hrs to complete. So simply don't come if you want their most popular food. 2. THIS IS FACT: We said we wouldn't pay until the chef apologized for his rude yelling behavior. Actually, we didn't hear any apology in the end but we still paid them. Also, we didn't yell at all, and we just communicated to request for a reasonable discount due to the unacceptable 1.5 hr wait time. 3. FAIL..... ouch. Went on a busy night, they had one adult waitress the rest were kids who had no idea what was going on. Needless to say it was a disaster, waited 45 min for anything to come out and ended up going to the bar myself to get drinks. Looked around the restaurant and everyone was not happy. All this continued so we went elsewhere. Someone trying to cut corners by having cheap labor from inexperienced kid staff. Shameful! Go to OFF THE HOOK SUSHI right up the street. Great vibe and adult staff service and food.

Amazing! 100% satisfied, it was our first time here, we ordered various rolls, they were all delicious. Usually when we try a few different rolls, one or two don?t meet our expectations but all the ones we tried were delicious! The salmon, tuna and shrimp were so soft and fresh. The 49ers roll is delicious. We are fans of raw salmon, the Tahoe roll is also yummy. The waiters were friendly and attentive to the current safety regulations. May was our waiter, very sweet. Reasonably priced.
Chef embarrassed a patron about a month or so ago because apparently the patron didn't tip the waiting staff. That patron was spending over $100 literally every week, but still the Chef thought it wise to call him out because apparently spending over $400 a month at their business wasn't enough for him. How about instead of ridiculing the customers that keep your business afloat, you instead just pay your staff a livable wage so they don't have to go begging tips from patrons?
I have been going here for 10 years. I cannot believe the soft shell crab roll was over $13.00 and was only 5 pieces and no claws at the ends. I am so disappointed, how chintzy!!!!! Alena Steiner
Went in one cold evening. Delicious food, so very, very fresh! Loved the interior fire pit. Sushi always adds up, especially when my grandson ordered four orders of octopus. Will go back!

The food was good. We had a issue with our offer, and to their credit, they provided a discount and free dessert for the kids without my having to ask.
Been coming here everytime I am in Tahoe and I love it!! A break from burgers and pizza! Food is amazing and so is the staff.
