We had an unforgettable evening at SAN CARLO Osteria Piemonte! From the moment we walked in, the warmth and authenticity of the atmosphere set the stage for an extraordinary meal. Domenico, Alberto, Feliz, and Maurizio—each of whom brought a true Italian spirit—created a welcoming environment that felt like dining in the heart of Italy. Their attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and deep knowledge of the cuisine were remarkable. The food was simply divine, with flavors that transported us to Italy. Offering superb food and excellent service, this is my wife 's and my favorite restaurant in NYC. The menu offers some unusual, but fantastic choices, like tagliatelle with wild boar sauce. Rhe truffle dishes, which are the restaurant 's specialty, are to die for, especially the risotto di parmigiano with shaved truffles! This is not a cheap venue to dine, but it is worth every penny. We make a point of eating here whenever we 're in the city, even though the total cost includes Ubers from and to our midtown east apartment.

Really incredible food and service! Many thanks to Domenic. He gave us a wonderful evening on our wedding day. We ate the TAJARIN CON GAMBERI BURRO E LIMONE and Salmon. It was incredibly delicious, the taste was spot on. For dessert we had tiramisu, the last time I ate such a delicious tiramisu was in Milan. When we are in New York again, we will gladly go there again.

Would have been five stars across the board. Hostess teased us, brought us to a beautiful table, outside. Perfect night. Then…. Said “sorry, can’t give you that table.” Escorted us inside to a tiny 2 top. Back in the deepest part of the restaurant. Disappointed. The restaurant has a beautifully crafted aesthetic and design. The service is exceptional, with attentive wait staff who offer a thorough explanation of the wine selection. It is the perfect spot for a date night or for gathering with family and friends.

We sat outside. Very friendly and professional staff, great food and a great wine menu. Portions were on a smaller side which we loved as it gave us a chance to have all three courses including the dessert.

Authentic cousine from Piemonte region (one of my favourite italian regional cousine! . Great service and cozy atmosphere. Much better then a classical italian in the city!
