Everytime I come to Bilbao I try to go to San Gotardo. It’s open for lunch Mon-Fri only so make sure u have time to eat here. The set menu changes daily and the food is fantastic, it tastes like food in a friends house rather than a restaurant. The service is friendly and efficient. They happily place a bottle of wine with ur order. Menu is €13.50 and I’m glad that I got to eat here twice this trip. In a city renowned for great food, San Gotardo holds its head high.
Today I've been with my parents to eat. We've opted for rice to the sailor and a potato splash. For dessert, all homemade flan and we have accompanied the food with a bottle of white launa on the 2020s of launa wineries. We couldn't eat better, all delicious and the wonderful deal. Congratulations on capital. We'll definitely come back...
