San Remo [gluten Free]

Food was very good. Service was awful. The curly haired hostess working the evening of July 6 was miserable and did not smile once. She seemed annoyed to bring us to our table that we had a reservation for. Our waiter was very cold and brief. He was not informative on the menu and had no personality or hospitality (we still tipped him $40) The food runners were much more friendly and kind. For the prices this place charges I expect better service. The place is also extremely loud with very outdated decor. I won't be back as this is the second time I had awful service here. I would consider take out. It's a shame because the food is absolutely delicious but their wait staff is AWFUL.

Our dinner was amazing. We had braised beef with dumplings and lamb with mashed potatoes and brocolli. Finished all off with apple carmel cake topped with vanilla gelato, lemoncello shots and double expressos and coffee. Our server, Rueben , was , spot on , impeccable,funny and timely. First visit but won't be the last. Had a great interaction with the owner and his brother. I highly recommend.

Service was very slow we knew it would be slower than usual but this was very bad. The wait staff keep saying it was the number of take out orders causing the delay from the kitchen. We also asked that one dish come out with no sauce and just have salt and pepper and it came with a lemony flavor which the person could not eat we took it home and the person who did eat it said delicious

First time going I wish we would've tried it earlier. Not many Italian restaurants around that fit our tastes. Grilled calamari w arugula dressed in a house vinaigrette was absolutely amazing. Special burrata w tomatoes equally as good. Gnocchi bolognese was absolutely handmade as the menu said the special chicken sorrentino was absolutely delicious. We'll be back for sure. I have Celiac disease and San Remo was the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends. They put gluten free flags in my food to distinguish it and brought out gluten free bread without extra charge which is rare! I will be returning. My non-gf friends enjoyed their meals as well and the ambiance was of a nice Italian restaurant.

We ate here for a family birthday celebration. One family member has severe allergies..we were very confident and comfortable in the waiter's assurance that all ingredients were safe to eat. The food was delicious and trusting that it was safe to eat is invaluable. Thank you San Remo!!

Food was excellent. Great sauces, menu offerings and variety. Desserts were delicious also. The drinks could use improvement...tonic water was flat and when the drink was immediately replaced you could barely taste the liquor along with blah tonic.

The good news is that there are a lot of gluten free options. We found the tomato sauce to be too sweet and the francese sauce to be too buttery. I know this is just a preference of taste but it was not to our liking. Réservez une table maintenant

Worth your time and money Food and service was better than any restaurant I've been to My biggest concern is the noise level This was well within my limits I will continue going to San Remo weekly

If you have a gluten issue this is the place to eat. The food is great. Even my friends who don't have an issue love it too. I have been here many times and have never been disappointed.
