San Remo [gluten Free]

Based on what I'd heard, I expected San Remo to be outstanding, both food and service. It was not. It was just mediocre Italian food, that is WAY over priced. We had at least 4 different servers. Seemed no one wed had had a solid knowledge of wine. One server seemed like she didn't even want to be there. She told us the specials so fast and had a thick Hispanic accent, so we had no clue what they were. None of our servers checked on us until we were almost finished eating. No offer of cheese, pepper, etc. All pasta is homade? No, not what I ate. With so much competition in RVC this would not be a place I would return too. Disappointing.

Amazing!!!!!! Not so many GF friendly restaurants here with many options. They even had gluten-free bread for the table. My pictures are not amazing because I was stolen to dip. Everything came marked with a Lil gluten-free flag, which felt even more pleasant that there was no cross-contamination. We have the gf gnocchi with vodka sauce, the eggplant parm and bread for the table. And the bread was great! Not easy to find good bread or a restaurant that has it for the table. Alssoo, the service was great! Everyone was so friendly and they visited us the perfect crowd. Always had a full glass! In any case it will come back:

GF food was good, but had cross-contamination as I became very sick the next morning, which was not as I wanted to spend my last day on vacation. I haven't been so sick for years. Also the prices were very high and my friends with whom I saw a rat running under a table. I told the staff, but they acted like it wasn't a big deal. If you have a gluten intolerance, I would be very careful with eating there. Next trip to NY I will skip this restaurant.

Thank you to the entire staff in San Remo, especially Omar, who went beyond and beyond for our daughter?s baptism! Our guests razed over the wealth of food and drinks served, as well as how delicious everything was and how attentive the entire staff was. Very recommended for any upcoming event or even for lunch/night You won?t be disappointed!

High 4 very high 4 restaurant week menu quite close to the full menu Great service great food, very warm eggplants was super light and baked with a topping pork world class pepper dish And the artichoke so much cheese and it was world class
