San Shi Go Sushi Omakase Newport Beach

Very, very satisfied with our omakase dinner recently to celebrate a graduation and birthday. We came on a Friday night with reservations for 6 people, bar seating 7:30pm, and it was quite busy. We had to wait about 20 minutes for them to finish clearing out the previous party, but they were really apologetic and sincere and offered to get us drinks before we sat down so we didn't mind. What makes this restaurant stand out from other sushi places is by and far, their service. They are attentive, professional, fun, and oh so charming. San Shi Go was a hidden jewel where I stumbled on Wednesday night. Reservations are required. I suggest to reserve a place for the Sushi Bar for the best place in the house! Go for the Grandmakase and let the cook on a sushi adventure.

The best sushi I ever had. It was art on a plate, and I am excited to go back, words could not describe how good it was. The service and the food were perfect!

here after a day in catalina. the food was fresh and delicious. server were nice and attentive. this place is now our sushi spot in newport!
