Tucked away on Buckingham Gate, next tour to the lovely Taj Hotels lies a little known restaurant and bar. Well little known to me, because hiding down a long corridor lies a bright airy space overlooking St James Court, hiding Bank restaurant part of the Individual group of restaurants Angie opts for the smoked salmon to start while I opt for the asparagus and poached egg with hollandaise. The asparagus are not the tender young stalks I expect but cooked well and cut through quite easily when picked with the perfectly done egg and not overpowering hollandaise. This restaurant is perfect for hosting a business meeting. I recently dined at Bank Zander Buckingham Gate for a business dinner and was extremely impressed. The bar area is top-notch and offers a wide variety of drinks, including some tasty non-alcoholic cocktails for those who are driving. The meal was delicious and the menu caters to all tastes.

The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant, but unfortunately our server was extremely slow and mixed up several orders.
