Tucked away on Buckingham Gate, next tour to the lovely Taj Hotels lies a little known restaurant and bar. Well little known to me, because hiding down a long corridor lies a bright airy space overlooking St James Court, hiding Bank restaurant part of the Individual group of restaurants Angie opts for the smoked salmon to start while I opt for the asparagus and poached egg with hollandaise. The asparagus are not the tender young stalks I expect but cooked well and cut through quite easily when picked with the perfectly done egg and not overpowering hollandaise.
