My friend ordered a large take out for a little reunion. I could not believe the variety of great flavours we shared! There were a few dips. One called Palak Paneer is basically a spinach dip, tasting great and made me feel healthy. Shahi Paneer is a cheese dip, delicious and Mutter Paneer - green peas, tomatoes and cheese, just divine.... We had curries, rice, masalas, samosas and all was just sooo good. I wrote down these names so I can have them again....As you can tell I love flavour and I can handle spices very well. Indian food is lovely to me and I appreciate good Indian Dishes.Staff is very friendly, smiley. the lady owner works there coming in and out of the kitchen and is the nices...
We chose this restaurant for our Ladies' Night out. We were not disappointed in our choice.It was a quiet night, so we had most of the restaurant to ourselves. It was a bit chilly, but they were quick to turn up the heat for us.The menu had a great variety and offered full meals which was appreciated. The wait staff offered good suggestions and was helpful in us making up our minds. The food was good and arrived hot. We were more than satisfied with our choices and we all left full.The only drawback is the location of the bathrooms when the door was left open. Perhaps a wall / divider / or large plant would be possible and more attractive. One of our ladies got up finally and closed the door...
I had placed an order for pick up and when I got home I opened it up, started mixing the sauce and rice and realized that they had given me the wrong thing. When I called them to see if they would correct it for me they said they wouldnt because i had mixed them. I understand that I should have paid more attention but I hadnt eaten any of it and the best they would offer me was a discount on the correct meal. To me this is terrible costumer service. why would it matter if I had mixed the sauce and rice, its not like it could be reserved to anyone else. I have never had an issue with them before but I am very disapointed and will not be going back.
Outstanding food and gracious, enthusiastic service. Chicken Madrasi, Butter Chicken, rice, naan, mango lassi...all wonderful! Spicing (heat) is authentic, too, and not reduced to suit the typical Canadian palate. If you order medium heat, it will cause most Canadians to gasp. Hot? I don't know. I like pretty spicy food and medium at Sangam was about as much as I can handle. Had to blow my nose a few times, but it sure was delicious food. We will be going back for sure! We didn't try the samosas, but they have a reputation for excellent ones at $6.95 for ten. Not licensed to serve alcohol, by the way.
This place had great food! And the front end staff was super friendly and efficient. Don't just play it safe with the standard butter chicken. Explore a little and discover new favourites like the lamb curry or vegetable korma. The setting is nothing special but they do serve in Indian themed tableware that is a nice touch. We would definitely go again.
Love this place for takeout. Their butter chicken sauce is excellent although a little skimpy on the meat. The dozen vegetarian samosas (which are now 10, apparently) are an excellent deal and I am sure that is what draws people in. Highly recommend this place for good Indian food.
great Asian food here always hot eat in or take out large menu for take out also great specials the sweets are to see is to believe the curries are super great hot or mild you will enjoy there food for sure I have got food here for more then 19 years and still get some every month
