UPDATE June 30, 2023 My family took another shot at Sangria 71 in Commack. Unfortunately, it was basically the same experience. Really great service. However, I was hoping that the food was just as good. However, it was once again average. The staff was outstanding. Our server Teresa was fantastic and went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be. In addition, our busgirl Claudia also very pleasant. The hostesses were very accomadaing, and the valets were terrific. Alexi was also awesome! As for the food, my boil was good, but the shrimp was overcooked....very tough. My husband and I went to Sangria 71 after recommendation from our daughter. It’s my birthday today. Our server, Teresa, was wonderful; attentive but did not hover. The food was so good! I had steamed lobster, which was perfectly cooked. My husband had the Paella Valencia which had huge shrimp, a chicken wing and thigh, mussels and clams. Teresa surprised me with vanilla custard ice cream with a sparkler and sang Happy Birthday to me! I can’t recommend Sangria 71 enough!! Come and enjoy yourselves.
Had my birthday dinner here last night. We were waited on by Kevin. He was attentive, courteous, and worked quickly. It was a full house we had to wait a bit for some of the dishes but most of it was worth it. Some of the dishes lacked flavor, seasoning etc but texture was good. They do offer valet parking however I found that to be unnecessary I parked across the street instead.
My nephew recommended this restaurant and he was so right. Sangria was excellent and the paella was very good too. Next time I will have to go tapas crazy, that looked great and the selection was big. As for the dessert, the chocolate tres leches cake was perfect. Service was very friendly, attentive and quick and the restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean. Réservez une table maintenant
Excellent, Excellent!!!! Food was fabulous! We were a group of 4. We had several different appetizers. Watermelon sangria was delicious. Three of us had the surf and turf and one had the seafood paella. Wait staff were so nice and our waiter was terrific. Going back tomorrow to bring other people.
Food was good. Similar to other restaurant in Williston Park where we usually eat. Friendly service. They have a three course early bird dinner special. We were in area that day so we tried this one. Much bigger and they have a parking lot. I would recommend this restaurant.
Great time at Sangria 71, food was excellent, service was excellent. The entertainment was excellent. I can't say anything that wasn't good about it..Thursday evening entertainment was very,very good. I would recommend it to anyone. Maybe a bit pricey but well worth it..
