Sanguche has forever changed my perception of Peruvian cuisine. This gem of a place has earned a permanent spot on my list of must-visit food destinations. The chicharrón sandwich or milanesa sandwich i could eat every day for the rest of my life. The hot salsa is something godly. I've never tasted anything quite like it before—it's a fiery, vibrant burst of flavor that enhances every component of the dish without overwhelming it. The balance of heat and taste is nothing short of perfection. Sanguche has mastered the art of delivering authentic Peruvian flavors in a casual, welcoming setting. Went to SanguCHE after hearing rave reviews from a friend. Went in on a Friday afternoon It's a rather small shop with limited seating, and the place was pretty full. Placed an order for a regular Butifarra sandwich with a side salad, and a side of salchipapas. There were only two individuals running the restaurant the kind lady at the register and another guy in the back cooking; given how packed it was, it definitely took a bit over a half an hour to get my food, which is really the only reason I'm tacking a star here. The sandwich and salchipapas were indulgent and delicious I will probably return and get food from here on a less crowded day!
We try to grab sandwiches from SanguCHE whenever we're on that side of Naperville and it's open and time for food. Never have we tried a sandwich there that was not absolutely amazing and filled with fresh and delightful flavors. Service is as fast as can be expected for them cooking and constructing the sandwiches to order. If you can handle spice, I highly recommend the hot sauce they offer. The sauce tastes amazing and is perfect as a dip for their fries. Seriously, give them a shot! They're so friendly and I'm so happy to have this place in Naperville. (Favorite sandwiches: Chicharron and the Pollo Ambulante. Both are outstanding!
Great food. Always taste great! BUT I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THEIR HYGIENE . I’ve been in quite a few times and when they are busy the chef has gloves on and cleans up dirty plates from tables and continues to cook with the same gloves. That’s disgusting!! It literally takes 10 seconds to remove the dirty gloves and put on new ones. Which he didn’t do. That’s a shame because I really like this place but I will not compromise my hygiene integrity for anyone. If you read this chef, please do better and keep things clean. Other than that the food is fantastic. Réservez une table maintenant
We had a great experience for our first time. Very filling, reasonably priced. Gave good suggestions for ordering. Went with our 2 year old and they were very nice to us! He wanted to pet the sheep stuffed animals and they didn’t mind, ignore the other reviews about not being good for kids. Ours loved the empanadas, plantains and sandwiches!
