"This cozy spot is a real gem. I haven’t come across a restaurant or cafe with such an extensive selection of congee. They offer a wide range of styles, from savory to sweet, as well as plain congee for when you just want something simple and comforting. The portions are generous and very filling. If congee isn’t your thing, they also serve a variety of other dishes like dumplings. The interior is spacious and tidy, decorated with framed food photos on the walls. The service was excellent. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their congee flavors! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

Sanhe Congee is a fantastic spot for comforting, home-style congee and dim sum. Their menu offers a wide variety of congee, dim sum, soups, and snacks. The interior is simple, minimalist, and very aesthetically pleasing. We tried the Scallop Mushroom Congee, Shiitake Mushroom Sausage Congee, Fried Bread Sticks, Salted Egg Custard Bun, and Boiled Egg—all incredibly comforting. It had been a while since I last had congee, and this was the perfect warm meal, especially great for when you’re feeling under the weather or on a cold day. The fried bread sticks were crispy and paired perfectly with the congee. I highly recommend this place if you're craving comforting food! Service: 5/5 Food: 5/...

Sanhe Congee is a hidden gem for Chinese cuisine in West Melbourne! Conveniently located near Queen Victoria Market, it’s an ideal spot for comfort food lovers like me. Their menu offers a wonderful variety of congee, soups, dim sum, and Chinese snacks at reasonable prices. The flavors instantly transported me back to China, making it perfect for anyone feeling homesick. The fried bread sticks stood out—crispy on the outside, easy to bite, and not overly oily. The congee was flawlessly smooth and soft, loaded with ingredients that added depth to the flavor. A great choice for a satisfying lunch.
