A very pleasant restaurant right in the center of Zurich. Santa Lucia is an Italian restaurant chain, but the standard is still quite high. It has a large number of tables arranged around the bar. Here and there there are paintings hanging on the wall, creating a nice atmosphere. The dishes themselves are fresh and delicious. It's not exquisite, but still good. We tried bruschetta as a starter and as a main course spaghetti carbonara, seafood pasta, a Quattro Stagioni pizza and a Parmigiana pizza. Unfortunately, some of our guests had to wait a little longer because the kitchen mixed up their orders. You get the impression that the restaurant places more emphasis on the ambience than on prep...
If you know anything, I mean ANYTHING about pasta, don't order it in this place. Maybe Pizzas and the rest of the menu is great, but they don't know what are they doing when it comes to pasta. I ordered amatriciana. They brought me this. I am sorry guys but I ate amatriciana in Italy, it's my favorite pasta in the world, and this thing on the plate has nothing to do with that. I am very disappointed. Don't advertise something you don't know what it even is, please. Stick to what you know and avoid these reviews, I saw that I am not the only one but I wanted to see for my self. Well, I saw. Also, coffee? Not great.
Decent pizzeria type restaurant right on the lake in the alstadt. Service ok even if their English was a challenge to understand as I speak little German Started with Mediterranean salad it was quite good. Had funghi pizza to follow Mushrooms were fresh tomato sauce was good but cheese was nothing special Zurich is an EXPENSIVE city. This meal with no alcohol was about $60 US with a small bottle of water. Overall food was decent service was friendly and location very good
Everything we ordered was very good - the bruschetta with tomatoes was very tasty with lots of garlic. The pesto pizza with mushrooms - also very nice. The chicken breast with vegetables was very good - the ravioli with mushrooms was a standout. The tiramisu was among the best we have ever had! Friendly staff - very functional with English. A very enjoyable meal.

5 of us ate here while on vacation in Zurich. The location is great! Right by the tram and near the water. We were able to get right in but we did show up a little bit early for dinner. The Gnocchi and the Quattro Formaggio pizza were excellent. The pizzas are pretty large and for about $20 you can't go wrong especially in Zurich. They also had english menus!
Very close to Opera House, Good but generally full, you better reserve in advance !!! Price reasonable...
Service was excellent. Good atmosphere. Good place for a fast Italian fix. Pizza was amazing.
