Fantastic Poke Bowl! Unlike the many poke spots popping up everywhere these days, Santo Market sets itself apart by using high-quality tuna and authentic ogo (seaweed). The taste and quality are truly superior to others. It's a must-visit each time you’re in San Jose's Japantown, and it’s a wonderful family-run establishment with a great tradition.
I came across an ad in the Metro claiming they offer fresh poke bowls made daily, and I knew I had to try it out. It did not disappoint! I also grabbed a half pint of their spicy poke and some manapua to enjoy later. I have a feeling this place will quickly become a new favorite, and I’ll be visiting often. Thank you!
Poke Bowl is incredibly tasty! Additionally, having a spot in Jtown that offers both Japanese and Hawaiian delicacies, operated by some of the friendliest people I know, is a fantastic bonus!
When I was in preschool at lotus my dad would always take me here after school and I'd get a Hawaiian sun and some chips. This was one of my favorite memories from when I was little. Réservez une table maintenant
Santos Market is the best. Thursday is when they get their Hawaiian stuff. Poi, saimin, all kine goodies. Been gong there over 30 years.
