Staff was friendly. No issues there. I really want to give more stars but I had a couple of details that prevented it.First off they really should do more with the inside. It’s a simple hole in the wall place that could be so cool. A wall of Italian groceries? Couple of tables.Second the price for EVERY sandwich is 11 something. Kinda pricey for most. Although they do have warm bread for the rolls. But they are baguettes so they are a bit small for a sub.And lastly I ordered a sandwich that had roasted peppers listed. I saw the guy get a can of peppers from the shelf but somehow they never made it to my sandwich. It’s not like I added them. They were part of the ingredients and I didn’t get...
I ordered the Hank sandwich, which was supposed to include lettuce, but it was missing. My wife got the Vinny Sr., a meatball sub that was supposed to have Parmesan cheese, but that wasn't included either. She also added salami, and that didn't make it to her sandwich either. The Hank is a Buffalo chicken sub that tasted only of Frank's RedHot sauce. While the bread was good, it was really thin. Overall, I don't think either of these sandwiches was worth the $12 price tag. The taste of the meatball was decent, which is why I gave the review 3 stars.
I visited for the first time while traveling from Arizona, and this place was fantastic! The sub rolls were incredibly fresh, and the sandwiches were loaded with meat. The Chicken Parmesan sub was exceptional, and the sauce was outstanding. Don't forget to grab a cannoli as well!
Without a doubt, the tastiest meatballs and lasagna we've ever had! Everyone at our Christmas dinner wanted to know where we got them. I attempted to convince them I had made both dishes myself, but they saw right through my fib. We will definitely be returning for more!

I really love this restaurant. It has a nostalgic vibe that takes me back to earlier times. The fried chicken cutlets smelled just like my mom's cooking. The Grandma Pizza is fantastic, and the chicken Parmesan is excellent as well. Please don’t change a thing!
Moving away from Boston, I thought I'd have one last Italian for the road. This was the best Italian sandwich I've had in my 14 years in Boston. Too bad I didn't find Santoro's earlier!
Great Italian grinder. Usually you can’t notice a tomato on an italian, but they were one of the best parts. Fresh and flavorful, they made a great component of the sandwich
A neighborhood gem. Small shop with sandwiches, pizza and entrees familiar to all. Bread is made daily tasted wonderful on an Italian sub. Parking on side of building.

Outstanding sandwiches! Be sure to inquire about the loyalty program. The only drawback is that there aren't many good seating options. Food: 5/5.
Incredible Italian sub! It's as authentic as they come. Definitely worth making a trip to dine here. The staff is very friendly too!
