We visited this restaurant for a family meal on a Friday night as first-time visitors. We had booked a table and were impressed by the view from the back of the car park, although it was marred by unattended leaves and lack of maintenance. Upon entering the bar, we were greeted by a young bartender who lacked personality and manners. The restaurant was unusually quiet for a Friday night, lacking in atmosphere. We were seated at a table near a large group with children who were loud and playing videos on their phones. The music was not to our liking, more suited to a dance club than a dining environment. The food was satisfactory, with no major complaints, although the menu was quite limited....
My husband and I have just returned from a short break at Santos’s Higham Farm Hotel . From the minute we arrived all the staff were very professional, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Room was spotless clean and bed was comfortable and slept very well. The meals were amazing and piping hot. The breakfast was of high quality ingredients and was fantastic. Loved the decor of hotel was in keeping with the building and had homely feel . The terrace was fantastic being able to look across the valley. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit we’ve booked again to celebrate the New Year.
Overnight stay to celebrate a special occasion. Stayed in the Sherwood suite, which was spotless and had a lovely, spacious bathroom. Nice touch with the coffee machine and facility to have fresh milk in the room. Meal in the main restaurant was excellent, I particularly enjoyed the scallop starter. Husband would definitely recommend the fillet steak followed by the chocolate bar dessert! Very well looked after by Sam and his team, who were all very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was the traditional fayre. Good quality all round, including the pastries and yoghurts. Again, very good service.
We picked up a takeaway today from Higham Farm for the family. Beautiful food, massive portion sizes and such helpful staff at the restaurant. We would definitely recommend Higham Farm for lovely eat in meals and also take aways.

Welcoming and friendly staff, very professional. Beautiful food, chef is fantastic! We loved the decor in the restaurant and in the cute patio. The scenic view off the terrace is a must see! We'll definitely come back ?

The food here is amazing. Room was lovely and spacious. We have really enjoyed our two night stay.
