I’ve been eating Santuccis for more than 20 years. I ate it so often, like many in the neighborhood i knew most of the workers by name and they knew my order before i walked in the door. I used to joke they would either cater my wedding or my funeral one day. With new management that is no longer the case. I’ve tried a handful of times since they switched and every time I’ve been met with disappointment. Ridiculous wait times, unfriendly staff, and the food just doesn’t taste the same. Can’t describe how sad I’m about this place! The only thing that’s the same is the name every teller is different. The taste has gone down the drain. Santucci’s used to be a gem and I have been going there over 10 years. The sandwich is so dry. The sandwiches are pretty good but the wait is inexplicably long. I ordered with one other person waiting for a sandwich and it took like 20 minutes, for two sandwiches.
