Sapore Steak House

I was in the West Point area tonight because the NAVY Water Polo team played at the USMA and played my son for NAVY. I was looking for a good restaurant for us (NAVY food is what you expect), and found Sapore on Google with many decent reviews. Apparently, our son had to study, so we made it. When I picked it up, the first thing I felt was sorry I couldn't eat in the big restaurant you have. The building is wonderful, the bar area really cool, and the dining area is just excellent. In any case, we ordered the traditional Caesar salads, ravioli, lamb sheds and duck (two of us, but the NAVY type eats a lot). The Caesar salads were fantastic. Tent for Hudson Tal Restaurant Week. The atmosphere was very nice and the bar has almost everything. Service was great and they make suggestions and answer questions you have about food. I had her Lobster Bisque and if I wanted to be in such a beautiful place, I would have liked the bowl clean. OMG Best I ever had. I tried the Lamb Shank. Very delicate and tasteful. My date had a pasta dish that had a delicious creamy sauce with a big noodle. I think the pasta was made fresh and so good. I recommend you try them. They really seem to care for service and freshness of their foods

A worker recommended to try this place. I'm always ready to try different places. Nice, cozy place to get a date. The staff was very attentive. Our waiter was very detailed to explain the food items, and all specials for the night. I enjoyed all the food from the soup of the night (Lobster Bisque), to the Seafood Platter for two as an appetizer. I tried Duck for the first time and it was pleasant. The drinks were good. A very nice night out.

Beautiful restaurant in the historic building. We sat outside under the covered veranda. Perfect night for outdoor eating the ceiling fans kept the air flowing comfortably. Our waiter was very attentive, had all the specials memory able to request our separate review. The food was fantastic, though a bit expensive. Would definitely recommend, especially for a special occasion. Réservez une table maintenant

Restaurant is lovely. Very charming atmosphere. Look out for the little butler near the door. I had the dry aged Ribeye (special) it was delicious. The salad is good and dessert were absolutely tasty. Staff was very attentive.

Great restaurant. The food is amazing and they have an amazing steak. Have been there several times and will be going back. Hospitality of the owner and staff is above par. Great vibe and energy.
