With a name like Sapporo Teppanyaki, it would be rude to go with anything other than their teppanyaki on our first visit.. so we did. Sapporo have done well and expanded quickly with branches now in Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow so they must be doing something right. Its above average Japanese food, complete with an incredible experience by talented chefs while they chop, season, cook and serve each dish in front of you! Their finale move is setting fire to the grill that then erupts in flames. great eating, great location, what a show Japanese eating and teppanyaki has always been a tasty bite for me when my daughter reported that her pupils had discovered this restaurant in a beautiful part of some, I was hacked! I wasn't disappointed. the restaurant in castleford, the heart of the old industry, and a wonderful place to look around and work an appetit! the restaurant is well furnished and staff welcome that will be booked in advance. eating is stunning and the show of chefs entertaining. we also had sushi, sashimi and Teppanyaki sets. all equally excellent. highly recommended
A typical teppanyaki experience, and lets be honest that's what this is really about. The food is probably overpriced and only of average quality, but it is justified (rightly so) by the performance that comes with it. As long as you’re drinking to avoid the interaction from turning from cheesy, to persistent, to annoying! To balance my point about cost, I certainly didn’t leave here feeling hungry after a reasonable portion of meat and as many forms of carbs as they could squeeze in me (rice, noodles, fried potato).
the chefs are entertaining, but eating was best moderate. extremely disappointed and definitiw a first and last time experience. if they are hungry and want to eat quickly, they go to a really quiet time. it seems as if they are overbooking, because despite booking a table in advance, we had to wait for more minutes to sit and eat for more minutes and that is on a weekday. wait for eating to pm from a booking on a weekday is scandalous. Incredible atmosphere and food!! We had a table of and we were on one of the chefs tables where they cook in front of you, there were three/four smaller groups on the same table, it was quite a lot of fun I have the steak teriyaki, such an incredible dish alongside the fresh fried potatoes and veg. There is some great moves made by the chef who was very entertaining Would highly recommend!
The food is cooked on a grill in the middle of your table by your own chef, the chef puts on a delightful show whilst preparing your meals making it great for children and adults alike. Food was amazing and can be tailored to your liking as the chef is so close, easily the best Japanese I've had and will never forget the experience highly recommend to everyone.
Famous for their teppanyaki. I opted for their special Sapporo sushi pcs) to share and their Sapporo style ramen noodle soup. All very tasty much to my delight. Not a huge fan of chains (they have restaurants in Liverpool and Glasgow too). But would definitely recommend.
fantastic restaurant with a large selection of dining and also tasteful menus. large beverage selection made perfect. service was excellent with catering for diets. the chefs were politely entertaining and competent. would definitely recommend. Réservez une table maintenant
