We had a fantastic experience ordering a Takeaway Sashimi Platter on a Friday evening from Sashimi Shinsengumi. When we opened the package, we were greeted with the amazing aroma of freshly prepared seafood. We had pre-ordered a $150 platinum sushi platter and a $110 sashimi/aburi platter, specifically requesting aburi. The omakase selection of fish and shellfish was superb, and the pictures on their website are helpful for reference. I had an incredible experience at Matsui San and Tomoko San's restaurant. Their professionalism and warm hospitality were outstanding. They are the most helpful hosts in their cozy shop. After trying to get a reservation for two years, I can honestly say that the wait was worth it. The food was excellent quality and the best value in Sydney. Thank you to this lovely couple for a wonderful dining experience.

The food at this restaurant is incredibly fresh and delicious. I will definitely order again. While it is a bit pricey, it is worth it. It may not be an every weekend occurrence, but the quality of the food and service is top-notch. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. Réservez une table maintenant

I have never had sashimi as fresh and delicious as the one at Sashimi Shinsengumi! My favorite is the crook, it's unbelievably sweet and flavorful. The quality remains top-notch even when you take it home. I can't wait to go back and have more! Check them out at @sashimishinsengumi!

if you are happy enough to call (after 300 tries in a session for me), you are immersed in a unique style oasis for an adorable and humble experience! the sushi chef, mr. matsui is very open to ask, so they feel free to ask him something .

This is hands down some of the best sushi i’ve had in my life. I have been dreaming about getting to Japan for meals but these are amazing and definitely one of the best Japanese Restaurants in Australia. They are a 10 star restaurant
