Sassafras American Eatery, Highlands

Sassafras is splendid! The hype is real. In addition to the fried green tomato slider, we ordered the salmon and fried green tomato Benedicts, the Sassafras ****** and the Tale of the Pig ******. All were absolutely scrumptious. The decor and ambience was spot-on and the hospitality matched it. Can’t wait to return to try the beignets.

Delicious vegetarian eggs Benedict (on fried green tomatoes), good iced latte. Friendly hostess, waiter seemed a bit rushed, but fine. Nice space for a brunch out with a friend. Would go again!

Loved my fresh juice drink and crab Benedict. The patio for ambiance was refreshing.

Vibes are on point and the biscuits and gravy are unreasonably good and cheap
