Sassy Onion State Street

I would’ve given 5 stars because the food was great, but it took forever to get our food. Not the waitress’s fault. The cook came out to apologize. I didn’t ask what took so long, but they weren’t necessarily overcrowded during the lunch hour. Sandwich, fries, and Caesar salad were very good. My friend and I split those because it was so much food. For $6, I expected the smoothie to be something special. It was big but not amazing. I liked the location of this one on Market Street because of easy access off I-5 and a parking lot in back. Previously, I had only been to the one downtown. I liked the decor better in the downtown location with beautiful metal prints of food all over the walls. S...

My husband and I went to Sassy Onion for the first time. We didn’t have to wait to be seated and our orders came to us in less than 10 minutes. There were a lot of customers there but it was not overly crowded. The food was really good. The classic French toast are enormous! Super fluffy and tasty. You can see it in the pictures.

The biggest, most delicious French toast. Hash browns were very good too. Staff was friendly and helpful, gave us everything we needed without having to ask and the food came out fast.

We came from out of town. The staff was both polite and fun. They were patient as we took a while to order.

Great folks. Some much gluten free! The frier is dedicated GF!!! Gluten free pancakes too.
