Sauves casse-croute

We were on vacation and decided to come to this resto because I have continuously heard about it and they talked about it at 'La petite séduction' TV show. Some people were going there more than once a week for hot dogs. When we went the steamies machine wasn't working so I took toasted hot dogs...they were served in a steamies bun and it wasn't toasted, it was just dry! I was expecting a bun with buttered, toasted sides...wouldn't you? The actual sausage wasn't even that great. For all the good I have heard over the years I was pretty disappointed and I hope it was just an off day. My kids enjoyed they pogo and poutine. If you are in Hudson during the summer and want a snack place, reasonable with kids this is the PLACE. Hot dogs/hamburgers/French fries/poutine/milkshakes you can't go wrong. Can sit outside to eat. Not fancy, no place to spend time and chit chat, just a great pate frite place. The best Hudson has to offer.

Situated in downtown Hudson on Main, this casse-croute seves up the best steamies and fies in town - not to mention a Quebec delicacy poutine.. Tables and umbrellas outside where you can watch the the world drift by or sit at the counters inside and chat with the owner George.

Restaurant sauvé is a great place to enjoy the best poutine in the area. It has a very old vintage look but has always been clean. It's great for eating on the small patio up front in the summer and a perfect place to stop at on motorcycles ride. Réservez une table maintenant

Le service est plutôt lent,terrasse petite pour l'achalandage,mais les frites sont excellentes,les burgers luxueux,les hot dogs,ne sont pas plus "santé" qu'ailleurs,mais il faut absolument aller y luncher le samedi après une visite au marché.

This is a great place to stop for a fry and a steamie! Highly recommend to bring the kids on a hot day for a slush puppy.
