First time was impressive, second time was ok, third time?wasn?t a charm. First time the Buffalo calamari offered a hot kick and great crunch, fried green tomatoes a must have appetizer and the Nachos were sooo good topped with pulled pork (not pictured). Be sure to order the sweetened iced tea! Jeffrey was attentive and very insightful! Would order all the items again! Second time jambalaya and chicken and waffles! (Not pictured) Both were ok overall. The fried chicken had a thin fried crunch and the waffle was dense! Good to try them, but won?t order them again. Third time Fried green tomatoes always a must have appetizer. Pictured below, they were deeper fried than usual. Grits casserole...
We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The service was outstanding, with our waitress being very attentive to our needs. We had a large group of 7 adults and 4 young children, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The restaurant even brought out the children's food first, which was a nice touch. We also brought a cake, and they kindly cut it for us and served it. This was my fifth visit, and I've never been disappointed. I previously attended a "Lunch with Santa," which was wonderful, and I also celebrated a bridal shower there that was exceptionally well organized. I highly recommend this restaurant!
My daughter had to take on the role of a food critic for a school assignment, so we decided to visit Savannah's for dinner. She evaluated the restaurant based on atmosphere, friendliness, food selection and taste, as well as value. What better spot to experience authentic Southern hospitality than at a true Southern grill like Savannah's? From the hostess who welcomed us to the waitress who served our meal, everyone made us feel the warmth of the South. The food was delightful, and the prices were quite reasonable. If you're in search of some Southern charm, make your way to Savannah's!
The dining experience was amazing, with generous portion sizes that offered excellent value. The atmosphere was perfect, and our waitress was very friendly. Unfortunately, there were issues with the food supplier, as all of our orders were incorrect and we had to pass plates around to get everything right. This was particularly frustrating during Sunday brunch since they had been informed about the avocado situation within an hour of opening. With some of these reviews I cannot say whether they are extremely incompatible with their food production or people do not have taste buds. Ordered a family meal and was extremely disappointed with the portions for and lack of taste, taking into account the costs. Fried chicken was not seasoned, Mac and cheese had no taste and the yellow rice was boiled and tastefully burned. As someone who grew up eating soul food, that's it?
Popular place sees brisk dining, especially for lunchtime. Wholesome food, reasonably priced, with cocktails and beer (bottled/draft) on offer. Clean bathrooms and competent waitstaff. Parking tight and on an incline. In March 2022 the Westchester Libertarian Party met at this location?
Went for an early dinner. Had crab cakes, buffalo wings, chili, cobb salad, spicy chicken and grits, chicken and waffles at our table and everything was delicious! Portions very large, atmosphere really nice, and Luke was our waiter and he was awesome! We are definitely going back!
